Bungie is seeking an analytical, technical, and collaborative Systems Designer for our next great game. You will be responsible for working on the conception, implementation, and refinement of Systems including progression, monetization, live events, and more. As a Systems Designer, you will build compelling systems that keep players invested over the long term. You will be working with a variety of different disciplines to produce cohesive and rewarding experiences.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, implement, tune, and iterate on critical game systems progression, challenges, and events
Improve the progression experience of systems across the game
Design and implement modular features that can be used throughout the game to improve retention, acquisition, and monetization in ways that respect our players
Collaborate with cross-discipline teams to build and release live features and experiences
Perform basic scripting and tool work
REQUIRED SKILLS
Experience working in live ops on a live game (“games as a service”) on any platform
Proven game design experience with a strong aptitude for critical thinking and analysis using data
Ability to solve problems and excitement for learning new tools
Able to work well and effectively with others while giving clear, direct, and respectful feedback
NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS
Familiarity with systems and monetization design across numerous games/platforms
Experience working with game development software
A history of building alignment
Strong feedback skills
Washington State Pay Range III
$132,000—$157,999 USD
Washington State Pay Range II
$98,000—$129,000 USD
Bungie employees also receive:
Annual Paid Time Off (PTO) and/or Sabbatical (SAB) based on position level
L13-L15: 20 PTO days
L16-L17: 15 PTO days / 5 SAB days
L18+: 10 PTO days / 10 SAB days
