Our studio needs a Recruiter who will play a key role in growing our business supporting our Business Operations functions (HR, Finance, Recruiting, Employee Services, and Legal) and our Marketing/Publishing teams. This individual will also partner with our People Team, studio leadership, and hiring managers to build our University Relations and Internship Program. They will also be integral in shaping and scaling our program in the years to come. In addition, this individual will support our full cycle recruiting efforts to deliver and execute an inclusive and diverse talent strategy that aligns with Bungie’s growth plans. You will also provide critical talent insights to help inform and influence our recruitment process, hiring philosophies, and overall assessment practices.

With the uncertainty and rapidly changing circumstances surrounding COVID-19, most positions at Bungie are expected to onboard and work from home for a significant portion of 2021. In 2022, most Bungie employees will adopt a flexible schedule working from home part time (outside of positions identified as either 100% onsite or fully remote in WA & CA). Currently only a select range of positions are available for full-time remote work in WA & CA (please review location for details). Prospective employees located outside of CA & WA will need to establish WA state residency within 45 days of a start date. Bungie’s work from home, flexible work schedule, and remote policy is subject to change at the company’s discretion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand Bungie’s hiring needs and translate those needs into effective and efficient candidate generation strategies
  • Own and manage the full cycle recruitment process while mentoring and developing other recruiters
  • Drive talent engagement: source, identify, and cultivate relationships with active and passive candidates to fill current openings and develop a pipeline for future needs
  • Advise hiring managers on all aspects of the hiring process
  • Understand candidate needs and successfully close candidates; use a high degree of professionalism and savviness in generating, extending negotiating offers
  • Ensure that every candidate has an outstanding and inclusive experience
  • Attend job fairs, conventions, industry events, and conferences such as college career fairs and GDC
  • Maintain and encourage further development of recruitment initiatives/programs (e.g. employee referral program, relocation programs, compensation surveys, etc.)

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Proven ability creating thorough candidate pipelines and a track record of hiring success, preferably with G&A, Corporate, or other Business Operations experience
  • Ability to interact with all levels of the organization and demonstrated strength in prioritizing multiple projects in a rapidly changing environment
  • Proactively establish effective early in career and partnerships with external stakeholders, including university professors, career counselors, organizers, and students, to generate candidate pipelines and sourcing strategies to fulfill the studio’s talent gaps
  • Work closely and partner with the recruiting team as well as internal hiring teams to project manage internship requests, processes, and events, identifying risks, resourcing plans, and branding opportunities
  • Ability to implement targeted, creative sourcing initiatives utilizing a variety of tools including LinkedIn, Boolean, Gem, Chrome Extensions, and other internet research tactics
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, and ability to take initiative and build strong productive relationships; experience with coaching hiring managers
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System, preferably Greenhouse

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • Previous experience driving diversity sourcing strategies
  • Previous recruiting experience in the video game industry
  • Management/leadership experience within a recruiting organization; understanding team dynamics/health, career growth, performance management, and development opportunities for others
