The Product Sourcing Specialist is a new role that is responsible for the product sourcing function of the Consumer Products business. This role will have expertise in sourcing hard and soft goods physical merchandise to be sold on BungieStore.com and a passion for creating and selling high-quality apparel, accessories, and collectibles for a passionate fanbase.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support best in class Product Sourcing functions for Bungie's Consumer Products Team aligned to Bungie's Sourcing & Procurement (S&P) strategy

  • Partner with S&P leadership to execute Sourcing strategies specific to Bungie's Consumer Products business

  • Influence purchasing decisions for merchandise orders across various categories based on cost and scenario analysis, timing, global compliance factors, quality and market trends

  • Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, including costs and terms of supply, service, and quality

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and pursue new supplier opportunities

  • Anticipate and escalate issues with senior members of the team and external partners to resolve risks to product development plans

  • Maintain strategic sourcing relationships and develop strong partnerships with internal and external teams

  • Partner with the Director of Consumer Products in managing budgets and maintaining product quality, compliance, and financial targets

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience

  • 4-6 years of Sourcing experience with hard goods, soft goods, or both for multi-national resale distribution

  • Proven track record of cost savings

  • Ability to integrate new Sourcing best practices through influence and relationships

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Proficiency in sourcing software (WorkDay preferred)

  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to negotiate business terms

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • Video game industry experience as a career or hobby

  • WorkDay experience

Listed below is this role's base pay range within the greater Seattle area, In other locations that Bungie has approved for remote work, this pay range may be adjusted up to +/- 10% and some roles may be classified as non-exempt (hourly).

This range is determined by an array of factors, including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. Additionally, it is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Washington State Pay Range

$84,000—$107,000 USD

Bungie employees also receive:

  • Annual Paid Time Off (PTO) and/or Sabbatical (SAB) based on position level

    • L13-L15: 20 PTO days

    • L16-L17: 15 PTO days / 5 SAB days

    • L18+: 10 PTO days / 10 SAB days

  • 10 paid Floating Days annually, prorated in the first year of employment based on start date

  • 10 paid Bungie-observed holidays each year

  • One hour of Paid Sick Time (PST) for every 30 hours worked
