Overview

Bungie is seeking a Producer to play a critical role in the development of Bungie content. This Producer will work as a part of the project development team to build and improve internal and external development processes, as well as intra and extra team communication. They will act as the bridge between internal and external teams to make sure our project development teams are always in sync and collaborating.

The ideal candidate will be a tenacious, self-motivated, empathetic, and cool-headed organizer of people and process, who won't let up until the way forward is clear and the team is on the right path. This position is available for full-time remote work in CA, IL, NC, TX, and WA.

With the uncertainty and rapidly changing circumstances surrounding COVID-19, most positions at Bungie are expected to onboard and work from home for a significant portion of 2021. In 2022, most Bungie employees will adopt a flexible schedule working from home part time (outside of positions identified as either 100% onsite or fully remote in CA, IL, NC, TX, and WA. Currently only a select range of positions are available for full-time remote work in CA, IL, NC, TX, and WA (please review location for details). Prospective employees located outside of CA, IL, NC, TX, and WA will need to establish WA state residency within 45 days of a start date. Bungie’s work from home, flexible work schedule, and remote policy is subject to change at the company’s discretion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with project leadership and co-developers to execute a viable development plan
  • Ensure continual alignment with co-dev partners, working with them to ensure they are delivering on product definition and communicating change control
  • Ensure delivery of outsourced content, on-time and on-quality
  • Work w with project leadership to ensure long term planning and scope for ex-dev content
  • Ensure health of partner relations
  • Ensure internal disciplines’ teams staffing requirements meet the capacity to support external teams’ required content delivery volume
  • Manage outsourcing budget
  • Act as project representative to facilitate communication between internal team and co-dev partners
  • Identify, mitigate and escalate risks
  • Analyze and promote technical improvements to pipelines to ensure greater efficacy of ex-dev content creation
  • Create and manage schedules, tracking, and forecasting delivery of external content development representing all disciplines
  • Maintain and radiate project documents relevant to supporting external development (ex: art direction style guides)
  • Codify and uphold creative approval workflow for external content keeping in-line with artistic and creative direction
  • Create and maintain internal review rituals of external content
  • Manage, lead, and mentor internal production staff
  • Improve production and development processes with a focus on automation and removal of manual processes

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience in internal games production; through full development cycles, from concept, production, launch, and/or live service operations
  • Experience with external development, either outsourcing or co-development, including internal strategic vision/planning and external
  • Exemplary communication skills: Listen to, speak with, and resolve conflicts with members of varied disciplines and external partners in a clear and efficient manner
  • Outstanding analytical skills: Understand, simplify, and solve or seek the solution to any problem in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Self-motivated and able to motivate others
  • Ability to continually prioritize work and drive alignment in complex situations, often with competing agendas
  • Detail oriented and organized, comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Results oriented, focused and composed under pressure
  • Social intelligence, great interpersonal skills, and empathy for creative teams. Passion, enthusiasm and knowledge of the games industry
  • Completed a minimum of one complete large scale game cycle from start to finish or two or more non-game production cycles
  • A collaborative team player
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Project Management and bug reporting Software

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • Experience producing game design teams
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
