Bungie is seeking a highly motivated and self-driven individual to Direct our globally expanding top tier IT Engineering and Support teams, currently consisting of 30+ staff. The successful candidate will partner across our organization to provide direction for the creation, implementation and ongoing support for our studio, datacenter and cloud technology infrastructures. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Operations, you will be a part of a team that leads innovation and technology of Bungie systems to ensure our studio continues to make world class entertainment. You are a technology leader who is solutions-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

With the uncertainty and rapidly changing circumstances surrounding COVID-19, most positions at Bungie are expected to onboard and work from home for a significant portion of 2021. In 2022, most Bungie employees will adopt a flexible schedule working from home part time (outside of positions identified as either 100% onsite or fully remote in WA & CA). Currently only a select range of positions are available for full-time remote work in WA & CA (please review location for details). Prospective employees located outside of CA & WA will need to establish WA state residency within 45 days of a start date. Bungie’s work from home, flexible work schedule, and remote policy is subject to change at the company’s discretion.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with all departments and functions to create and manage cross-team strategic development and support plans that define goals, KPIs, decision points, critical paths, timelines, risks, assumptions, alternative scenarios, and budgets
  • Establish priorities for feasibility studies and systems design and implementation to develop new and/or modify the Company’s Information Technology systems
  • Decision maker for software and hardware infrastructure plans
  • Coordinate IT-related activities with other departments throughout the Company as needed
  • Develop, implement, and manage IT policies and procedures including IT General Controls, and prepare required documentation to support audit requests
  • Responsible for business continuity and recovery of company’s information systems, including needs analysis, design, plan development, implementation, and documentation
  • Develop an IT operations and services global strategy with a prioritized roadmap and timeline, considering the strategic rationale, risk profile and benefits
  • Define and deliver scalable IT shared services, outsourcing commodity services where commercially sensible
  • Work with the global teams to optimize a global consistent support model for agreed standard services and assets governed by the IT operations portfolio
  • Collaborate closely with the Architecture and Enterprise applications portfolios to develop fit-for-purpose Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) and Operational Level Agreements (OLA’s) that meet with the business expectations
  • Manage third party service providers for the IT operations portfolio, working with outsourced providers, external partners, consultants, and vendors
  • Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
  • Define processes that drive synergies and leverage the global investment made in IT infrastructure assets and service through consolidation, balancing with regional and local affordability
  • Leads effort for improving IT processes
  • Work with purchasing to ensure software and hardware lifecycle management is maintained

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Strong business acumen and judgment, with the ability to think strategically about business issues and accurately assess key business metrics and situations
  • Experience working with outsourced providers
  • Proven track record of creating and delivering shared IT services in on-premises and cloud environments
  • Working knowledge of global regulatory and compliance environment
  • Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision making to achieve organizational objectives; with an ability to problem solve and facilitate solutions with limited direction
  • Bachelor in Computer Science or Engineering or Similar
  • Extensive experience in Enterprise IT leadership
  • Stays current with emerging technology trends
