We are looking for a driven, savvy, and well-organized individual to join us a Compensation and Benefits Manager. You will provide subject matter expertise in the areas of compensation, benefits, leaves of absence, compliance, and immigration.

During these uncertain times and rapidly changing environment surrounding COVID-19, all positions at Bungie are subject to onboarding and working virtually/remotely.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor the effectiveness of existing compensation and benefit policies, guidelines, and procedures
  • Oversee plan adjustments which are cost effective, consistent with market trends and company objectives, and designed to attract and retain employees
  • Act as primary contact for plan vendors and employees for resolution of health and welfare plan questions or issues
  • Ensure company compliance with federal and state laws governing both compensation and benefits practices. Prepare reporting as required for all health and welfare plans, including audits
  • Coordinate and implement corporate pay structure and practices for the US. Participate in compensation/benefits surveys and work with HR business partners and department heads on compensation reviews
  • Administer Leaves of Absence Program and Disability (FMLA, Workers’ Compensation). Prepare required documentation and employee communications. Partner with Finance and interface with other internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively assess Compensation and Benefits policies and practices to address identified issues and areas for improvement within Bungie
  • Utilize Compensation and Benefits policies and practices to interpret situations and advise management and employees as needed
  • Communicate and coordinate compensation changes, promotions, transfers, and various data changes through established IT systems and workflows to ensure Finance and Payroll receive the appropriate information
  • Maintain working knowledge of legislation that may affect compensation and benefits policies/practices
  • Partner with Bungie HR and outside Immigration Counsel to process immigration requests

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Experience in Compensation and Benefits in a high-paced environment, preferably within high-tech environment
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent demonstrated work experience
  • Advanced knowledge of federal and state laws on HR policies and practices including knowledge of ADA, EEO, FMLA, wage and hour laws, ERISA, and federal and state filing and compliance requirements related to employee compensation and benefits
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate data-driven recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, with an emphasis toward excellence in customer service
  • Experience working in MS Office and a variety of HR information systems, including the ability to create pivot tables, vlookups, and charts/graphs partnered with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Dynamic personality that will build relationships and trust at all levels. Must have good judgement and a “can do” attitude including a strong work ethic and self-direction to drive tasks to completion with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated capability to improve and scale processes. A systems thinker who can effectively diagnose the root cause and affect large-scale change
  • Demonstrated capability of handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
