We're looking for an outstanding software project manager to join our team. You'll be building project plans and provide continuous support for the engineering team to make sure projects are done right and on time. You will be deeply involved in the design process, and support services from conception to roll out.
You'll collaborate closely with our founders and will report to the CTO.

About the Role
- Assign and manage large and small projects across development team members both local and remote
- Builds project plans, levels of effort and maintains project tasks in Linear (a new tool that's better than Jira) through the software development process
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior / mid-level developers and engineers
- Work on technical and testing documentation for the features
- Provide accurate work estimates and work breakdown structure
- Ability to own and lead technical projects
Requirements:
- Have experience building high-quality mobile or web applications.
- Have experience leading a small team and taking a product from idea to a shippable state and monitoring the success of the product once in the wild
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience as a software engineer and leading software development projects
- Passion for quality and delivering top-notch products.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to adapt to a quickly changing task list
- Collaborative - Proven ability to work cross functionally and informally to achieve overall business objectives
- Can collaborate with technical and non-technical staff, including designers
- Can work independently
Bonus points if you:
- Are a good copy writer
- Love to play Jackbox, Werewolf, Avalon, Heads Up or any other fun board/social game
- Have React Native experience
- Are familiar with popular video chat or community applications
- You have experience with agile software development practices, and have participated in product roadmaps and development sprints before.

Location
- In normal times, we have an office in downtown Toronto. In these slightly less-than-normal times, we're an entirely remote company. We can help you to outfit your home office with all the gear and tools you need. We expect to return to the office when it's safe, so the ability to commute to downtown Toronto is something we require.
