We are looking for an experienced Producer to join our project management team. You will be working on a AAA project within a large scale team and will be working closely with cross discipline team members to deliver features to scope and on schedule.

In this role as a producer, you’ll be expected to track and maintain the production schedule, make sure the team is moving at a healthy pace, maintain the roadmap for your team and co-ordinate with all disciplines and other producers to ensure the smooth running of the project.

This Producer role is more focused on Project Management than design, please keep this in mind when applying.

The team at Bulkhead are a small, tightly-knit group of individuals who strive to build impressive multiplayer games. We question the norm and are always looking for new and better ways to do things. With our studio transitioning to a AAA standard, we are looking for team players who are confident in growing and learning alongside our talented team.

During the Covid-19 pandemic we have proven that we are able to work efficiently in a number of different ways, and so this role is open for candidates who want to work full-time in our Derby studio, but also those who want to work 100% remotely.

All candidates must be based in and have the right to work in the UK. At this time we are unable to offer any visa sponsorship.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Drive the development team by creating plans and roadmaps for the development
  • Facilitate conversations between key people across different departments
  • Understand the business goals of the game
  • Make sure the team are on track for successfully hitting milestones
  • Listen to the department leads and work with them to develop an 'AAA' quality game

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • +2 Years industry experience as a producer or other project management role
  • A basic understanding of Unreal Engine
  • Experience with different Project Management styles and tools such as Jira.
  • Interest in Action Shooter Games
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Bonus but not essential:

  • Experience shipping a Console/PC title
  • Experience in either a 'AAA' studio or an 'indie' team
