The Associate Producer, reporting to the Executive Producer, is responsible for monitoring the progress of the project under the Agile methodology. They have leadership skills, a critical mind, and a problem-solving oriented attitude. The Associate Producer possesses a proven track record of meeting deadlines, project milestones and established budgets. They identify and communicate to the Executive Producer potential risks and proactively presents proposals to mitigate them. They prioritize the tasks to be done within the team, organizes and manages the sprint schedules and acts as a Scrum Master with respect to the general priorities established by the Product Manager and Executive Producer.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Leads, create the tasks and sub-tasks to be completed in the monitoring tool (Jira-Agile), prioritize them according to the general priorities given by the Executive Producer and/or Product Manager and ensure that they have appropriate time estimates;
- Check and communicate regularly, with Leads and internal stakeholders, the progress of the project in order to meet deadlines, quality, established budgets and report relevant information to the Executive Producer;
- Following Product Manager priorities manage and maintain the backlog;
- Facilitate and prepare Agile rituals efficiently and rigorously;
- Ensure the quality of communications (frequency, adaptation according to context and product, etc.);
- Produce periodic reports (Burndown) on the progress of the projects and to identify potential risks;
- Ensure good management and updating of the Confluence space of the project;
- Participate and give support during retrospective sprint and post-mortem exercises at the end of the projects to determine the elements to retain or modify for future projects;
- Act as an agent of change with the team with regards to implementing and applying changes established by the Executive Producer;

Education / Experience:
- Bachelor’s in Administration, project management or other relevant field or excellent experience as a Scrum Master / Project Manager;
- Must possess a minimum of 1 year of experience (having completed a full production cycle) as a Scrum Master "Agile management" within a video game production;
- Experience in the video game industry;
- Knowledge of management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel / Sheet;
Asset:
- Agile certification;
- Produced and launched at least one (1) video game (mobile);
- Experience in the interactive universe for children.
