As the Quality Assurance Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality, stability, and user experience.

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Lead to spearhead the quality assurance efforts for our XR games and applications. You will be responsible for developing and overseeing the testing strategy, coordinating with cross-disciplinary project teams, and making sure our products are released to high standards without major bugs or performance issues. The ideal candidate has QA leadership experience in VR gaming, and thrives in a fast-paced, creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the QA process across multiple projects, from planning to execution.

  • Coordinate producers, directors, developers, designers, and artists to identify and resolve bugs, UX and performance issues.

  • Orchestrate QA efforts across all relevant XR/VR devices, hardware and software platforms.

  • Facilitate QA-related communications with clients, publishers and stakeholders, interfacing with external systems and teams as required (some afternoon/evening meetings might be required due to time zone differences).

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive testing strategy.

  • Ensuring compliance with publishers and publishing platform criteria

  • Implement and oversee best practices for QA, ensuring high product quality for all releases.

  • Create and manage bug tracking and reporting workflows.

  • Help foster a quality-focused culture across the organization, and contribute to improving the user experience across all our products.

  • Stay up to date on the latest XR industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve the QA process.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in gaming QA, preferably also in a leadership/management role.

  • Experience with testing XR (VR/AR/MR) applications and games is highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of gaming industry production and QA processes, testing frameworks.

  • Experience with bug tracking, testing tools and practices.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.

  • A passion for XR technology and gaming.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Jira.

  • Experience with Unity and Unreal Engine.

  • Experience with QA on multi-platform projects (including mobile).

  • Experience with version control systems (git, perforce, subversion).

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Live Ops games.

  • Knowledge of performance testing tools for different XR hardware platforms (Meta Quest, Vive, Pico, Apple Vision Pro, etc.).

  • Experience working with remote teams and international teams.
