We are seeking a Social Media Associate passionate about content creation, engaging with the community of players, communications and social media. Within this role you will work in BOOYAH! Brazil team to build a passionate and engaged community on behalf of the streamers, events and tournaments you work with, through high-quality contents and community interactions. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, with a degree in marketing and communications, and has a proven track record of community development efforts in the entertainment industry through content creation.

Job Description

  • Organize information in order to clearly create social media posts, videos and communications materials mainly focused on social media channels;
  • Support the growth of our brand´s presence through Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, BOOYAH’s Clips, Discord and other strategically relevant online channels;
  • Work closely with all the Garenian’s brands and profiles, supporting communication plans in order to promote the entire content;
  • Manage, schedule, and plan the content calendar for the aforementioned channels;
  • Work with design and content teams to request assets creation and delivery;
  • Cover in-person and online events in order to produce content designed for Social Media channels;
  • Provide meaningful feedback to internal stakeholders on the community’s sentiment, concerns, and suggestions;
  • Develop comprehensive plans for the product aligned with the marketing goals and strategy;
  • Implement a crisis management strategy for social channels;
  • Support of third party vendors to produce and publish assets;
  • Manage relationships with social media main platforms to improve collaboration during tournament coverage.

KPIs

  • Increase user engagement metrics on social media channels
  • Turn our social media accounts into main resource channel to our players in regards of our tournaments
  • Create a protocol for requirements with clear guidelines and deliverables.
  • Ensure all initiatives follow global and BR strategies
  • Keep a good environment over the community, with a closely social listening tracking.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience with brand communications, writing, forums, and social media
  • 2+ years’ experience with channel management, publishing calendars, and reporting and analytics
  • Advanced english is a must
  • Experienced in web outreach, proficiency with social media platforms and analytics.
  • To be a self-starter: you approach challenges without fear, taking the lead where a less confident person might hesitate, always thinking about details and possible threats
  • To be goal-oriented: you are an innovator and you launch projects and initiatives while always thinking about the value and impact on the players of our community.
  • Having experience in community management, social listening and approach of the audience is a plus.
  • Discord experience, as support and management, is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, copywriting ability is a plus, but great experience with text production, including video scripts is highly desired.
