The Metaverse Art Lead’s role will work with the product and design teams to help bring their ideas to life. You will apply your production background and knowledge to help produce art within the scope and needs of the project. Your time will be dedicated to helping the team achieve the best possible outcome from our collective efforts. The ideal candidate will have a background in video game production.

Responsibilities

Assist product and design teams to establish world in the vision of the metaverse concept
Research and propose concept references under the direction of product team
Work with leadership to make informed decisions on work methods, development pipelines, and priorities.
Work closely with product and design teams to coordinate and communicate progress updates and changes
Work closely with teams to provide well organized files and propose new ideas

Experience

Bachelor’s degree or higher
At least 2 years' working experience as concept artist in game industry
Professional skills with Photoshop
Solid 2D drawing skills and good aesthetic sense
Experience working in a fast paced environment. Be able to compartmentalize.

Highly Desirable Skills

Familiar with Illustrator, Adobe After Effects
Knowledge of 3D software (Blender, Cinema4D)
Familiar with western gaming and streaming culture and have a wide range of interests
Experience working cross-functionally with remote teams spread all around the world
Good organization, communication, and strategic planning skills
Experience working in a fast paced environment. Be able to compartmentalize.
