Blue Coast MFS is seeking an experienced in-house Stream Tech / Video Engineer hybrid to begin immediately. Ideal candidate is familiar and up-to-date with the ever changing digital landscape.

Requirements:

• Encoding and Live Streaming experience on streaming platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Facebook as well as custom RTMP address
• At least 1-2 years experience live switching shows with multiple cameras and playback media using ATEM Switchers
• Proficiency with vMix and OBS
• An understanding of Audio and Video signal routing and conversion
• Experience with using Zoom as a delivery and recording platform
• Camera knowledge or experience shooting is not required but a plus
• Audio mixing knowledge is a plus
• Experience with esports live streams is a plus

Duties:

• Leading team through live streams/events from pre-production to post-production
• Tracking camera and A/V equipment for both live and traditional recorded shoots
• Suggesting equipment and procedural upgrades to improve workflow
• Building camera, computer, and audio drop kits
• Maintaining studio computer rack for virtual events
• Assisting head of production with budgeting certain aspects of the live shoots (ex gear and team)
• Liaise with client and lead the live production/crew during shoots
• Some Assistant editorial tasks (Premiere, media encoder, data management, cloud storage)
