Blue Coast Productions is looking for an assistant video engineer for a variety of TV & digital productions both in and outside of the gaming/esports world.
This is an entry- or junior-level position with lots of opportunity for growth within the department for the right individual.
The ideal candidate has experience with some of the following:
- An understanding of video and audio signal routing and conversion
- An understanding of RTMP, SRT, and other encoding / streaming processes
- OBS software
- Zoom software
- vMix software
- Blackmagic hardware
- Ross hardware
- Camera operation/knowledge and experience
- Audio mixing/knowledge and experience
Job duties will include assisting video engineering processes for various live streams/events, as well as post-produced shows recorded both in-studio and remotely. For smaller projects, this individual will act as the primary engineer, and for larger projects they would assist a team of engineers.
We will consider a wide range of experience levels for this position and for other contract work on the shows we work on. We are hoping to add someone to the team who has some prior knowledge of some or all of these systems, but also has a desire to learn and grow within the company while gaining on-the-job skills working on a variety of network TV and digital productions.
