As a Mid/Senior UI Artist on the team, you will be working closely with our UX/UI lead, game designers, engineers, and art leads to create outstanding gameplay experiences through clean, intuitive, and beautiful UI. You will be an advocate of the players, championing usability and setting a high bar for Blizzard quality user experiences.

We need your help with:

  • A deep understanding of UX/UI best practices and design principals like color theory and typography

  • Working closely with design and art to create final high fidelity visual UI designs for in game menus

  • Creating and maintaining high quality art assets for in game menus like UI components, icons and decorative graphic elements.

  • Collaborating with UI engineers and designers to ensure designs are feasible and implemented properly

  • Embracing Blizzard's core value of "Every voice matters," creating a safe space for collaboration, communication, and creativity across all disciplines and departments.

You’re good at:

  • Pitching designs in a clear, detailed manner, through strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Balancing, prioritizing, and organizing tasks to meet deadlines

  • Self-critiquing and accepting outside feedback.

  • Being self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

Extra awesome points for:

  • Experience working on a AAA game

  • Experience with UI animation

  • Experience implementing your designs in engine

  • Enjoy playing a variety of video game genres and titles.

This role is anticipated to be a hybrid work position, with some work on-site and some work-from-home. The potential home studio for this role is Irvine, CA.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $84,475.00 - $115,000.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $29.81 - $55.14 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
