Job Description:

We are looking for a Social Media/CRM Specialist to join the Battle.net Commercial team. This hybrid role will help us build out the Battle.net brand through – you guessed it – social media and CRM. You will help us develop our content strategy, promote our editorial and commercial activities, and grow massive audiences.

Covid-19 Hiring Update: We’ve transitioned to a work-from-home model and we’re continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to begin as a remote position. We understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore possible interim options.

Responsibilities (social media):

  • Help develop our Battle.net social media strategy (how we expand our vision for the brand to different channels, differentiate from current Blizzard and Activision social media accounts, the cadence of posts, our voice, etc.)
  • Create, schedule, and post content and promotions from Blizzard and Activision (with the support of our writers/editors)
  • Grow our userbases with engaging posts and creative promotions, including cross-promotions with other brands
  • Respond to followers
  • Track analytics and produce reports to share with stakeholders and executives

Responsibilities (CRM):

  • Help develop our Battle.net CRM strategy (how we use email to share platform editorial and promotional content, the cadence of emails, our voice, etc.)
  • Create and schedule mailers for our CRM department to execute on
  • Grow our subscriber base with creative promotions
  • Work with the CRM department to track analytics and produce reports to share with stakeholders and executives

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience managing a brand’s social media accounts
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in developing and executing CRM email marketing programs
  • Stays up-to-date on new tools and best practices for both social media and CRM
  • Deep understanding of audience development and growth
  • Ability to handle this hybrid role, taking care of both CRM and social media (with writing support from our writers/editors)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
