We are looking for a talented content designer with experience working in expansive open worlds, with a passion for and fun content for Diablo IV! Breathe life into Sanctuary, designing friendly Towns, enemy encampments, and more.
Design, build layouts, and implement unique side content
Create hubs, towns, and cities and help bring them to life
Collaborate with artists and other design groups to create the Open World
Implement the spawning of monsters, objects, and scripted content in the Open World
Build fun and varied content hubs using grey block assets
Own the design vision of your content while also driving iteration based on feedback from your team, leadership, and the broader studio
Support and mentor Junior Designers on our team
5+ years of experience in game design, including senior design experience on a shipped product
Working with visual and text-based scripting languages to author game content Working with visual and text-based scripting languages to author game content
Working on Open World or Online Multiplayer RPG content
Knowledge & Skills
Strong grasp of level design theories and practices
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to bring various disciplines together to develop pipelines and deliver polished game content
Ability to self-start and be self-sufficient while also willing to seek guidance and answers
Ability to champion your ideas and vision
Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a highly collaborative and iterative team environment
