Join us as we write a new chapter in the Diablo universe! Diablo Immortal, an action RPG mobile game set in the world of Sanctuary, allows players to slay demons anywhere, at any time, in the palm of their hands!

Diablo Immortal has millions of players worldwide that depend on our high-tech infrastructure and client technology. In partnering with both internal and external partners, your goal will be to help drive our technical development from concept to live operations and deliver on the high-quality promise of Blizzard brands.

We are looking for an individual who has a passion and proven track record supporting live PC or mobile game development. Come work with us, and together we will build something exceptional.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new ways to improve and streamline our automation, directly impacting the productivity of both our internal and external development partners.

  • Design, document, and improve new and existing integrations in collaboration with our co-development studio partner and Blizzard partners

  • Design, develop, and maintain monitoring and alerting systems critical to understanding the overall health of the complex infrastructure backing Diablo Immortal

  • Advising development partners in areas of programming, debugging and optimization

  • Support the live operation of Diablo Immortal on a team of on-call technical resources

  • Collaborate with QA, feature developers, design, and production to identify and mitigate technical risk

Requirements:

  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills

  • Proven skills in at least one of the following languages: Python, Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, Javascript, Ruby, C/C++, C#

  • Experience in using, developing for, and maintaining Continuous Integration (CI) software, such as Jenkins

  • Experience working in a collaborative team environment and handling multiple projects simultaneously

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in software development

  • Passion for video games

Pluses:

  • A degree in computer science, or a related field

  • Advanced knowledge of one of the programming languages listed above, and/or additional programming languages

  • Expertise developing on Windows, Linux or Mobile (Android/iOS) operating systems

  • Experience with game development and/or tooling

  • Cloud infrastructure experience (k8s, AWS, GCP)
