Activision Blizzard’s Security Engineering Team is looking for a dedicated and motivated Splunk Engineer to join its ranks. You’ll be joining a technical team focused on the implementation of safeguarding Activision, Blizzard, and King’s games, systems, and people.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, creating, and supporting both on-prem and cloud infrastructure for tooling, orchestration, logging, and operations of Security systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate Linux proficiency, be self-motivated, have exceptional written and verbal communication skills and will be looking for an excellent opportunity to merge their passions for gaming and security.

As a Splunk Engineer, you may find yourself…

You may succeed in this role if you…

  • Like to solve novel and exciting problems

  • Dislike solving the same problems over-and-over so you are driven to automate or eliminate them

  • Feel inspired to make everyone’s job easier by improving workflows

  • Are comfortable digging through metrics, logs, and whatever else is available to improve systems and resolve incidents

  • Are okay using older technologies that may not be perfect, but are good enough and low maintenance

  • Can self-assess the needs of a system or team, and make a case to prioritize that work

  • Relish working with software, network, cloud, and other systems engineers to solve problems across all tiers of the stack

  • Help your peers succeed as much as you can

Types of projects you may work on…

  • Uplifting CI/CD and automations pipelines
