Operations teams plan for, support, evangelize, and improve our games in a variety of ways. As part of Blizzard operations, Talent Acquisition (TA) supports our employees and business units on a global scale.

We’re seeking a savvy Senior Recruiter, Corporate Operations with experience recruiting for strong corporate talent and client management skills to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting across a variety of corporate disciplines and industries with previous exposure to games, entertainment, media, or sports.

As a senior member of the recruiting team, you will manage the recruiting process end to end and have a significant influence and impact on the delivery of recruiting services to our business. You will drive sourcing strategy, identify and recommend process improvements and partner with TA team members in the execution of these critical components of talent acquisition. You will serve as the primary point of contact for hiring managers and support our business operations and esports teams by helping them understand the talent landscape, providing regular updates on the recruiting process and building strong relationships with our client teams.

Covid-19 Hiring Update: We’ve transitioned to a work-from-home model and we’re continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to begin as a remote position. We understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore possible interim options.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and manage the full life cycle recruiting process across multiple internal hiring teams
  • Work closely with hiring managers to define and qualify requirements, create job descriptions and implement proactive recruiting strategies
  • Source passive candidates through networking, cold calling and industry research
  • Pre-screen candidates
  • Facilitate the interview and selection process
  • Lead post-interview debriefs with clients and the interview team and guide team to a clear point of view on all candidates
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with professionals in gaming, entertainment, media, sports and other related industries to build talent pipelines
  • Utilize all available recruiting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS, CRM and other tools to maximize high-quality candidate flow
  • Partner closely with hiring teams to execute effective sourcing, assessment, and closing of highly qualified candidates
  • Manage a diverse req load encompassing a variety of business teams and position levels
  • Positively influence and mentor junior team members
  • Partner effectively with recruiting team peers and cross-functional partners (compensation, HR, operations teams, etc.)

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • A minimum of 5 years’ recruiting experience, preferably in-house
  • Strong analytical skills, including candidate evaluation and assessment
  • Results-oriented with a track record of successful hiring metrics
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully evaluate and hire both leadership and individual contributors
  • Effective multi-tasking and time management skills
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to exercise independent judgment and discretion
  • Experience managing multiple hiring managers in a complex matrixed environment
  • Able to maintain extreme confidentiality
