Responsibilities

  • Lead, recruit, and coach a team of submissions specialists towards individual and team excellence

  • Oversee first party and age rating board submissions activities across all titles and platforms

  • Ensure tracking of first party waivers and certification compliance issues into database systems

  • Partner and provide high value quality-related services to development leadership

  • Be accountable for the quality of all work and relationships on their team

  • Create, monitor, and control metrics impacting product and team quality

  • Coach and develop leadership talent for succession planning

  • Lead, connect, and partner with teams across Blizzard towards quality initiatives

  • Ensure project tracking tools and documentation meet team standards and up to date

  • Effectively drive and facilitate group tasks to completion and promote a team environment

  • Build strong relationships, based on skills, knowledge, and trust, with internal and external partners

  • Continuously seek technical and process improvement opportunities

  • Handle other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience submitting AAA games to first parties and age ratings boards across multiple platforms

  • 7+ years team leadership experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent industry experience

  • Exceptional ability to lead, inspire, and develop people

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and follow-up skills

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation

  • Strong project planning and management, people management, risk management, and issue resolution skills

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining meticulous attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to influence without authority

  • Passion for games, commitment to quality, and continuous learning

Pluses

  • Global age rating boards experience

  • Console and mobile technical requirements testing experience (TRC, XR, App Store Review Guidelines, etc.)

  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level (CTFL) or equivalent

  • Project management certifications

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $77,760.00 - $143,920.00 Annual. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
