Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Game Project Manager for Call of Duty mobile to join Activision/Blizzard Shanghai office.

The successful candidate will be passionate about mobile games, innovative and motivated, he should enjoy working in a fun environment to bring epic experiences to our players.

The Senior Game Project Manager will oversee designated game and services for Call of Duty mobile, to deliver Activision Blizzard value proposition to our customers, as well as interface with our operating partner, Activision Blizzard internal stakeholders and development team in headquarter(HQ), to communicate China needs and initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have very strong critical and analytical thinking, communication and influencing skills. The position will report to the Franchise Lead, and require to work closely with Activision studio, HQ publishing team and our publishing partner in China.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and align the local franchise strategy for the designated franchise with global. Identify local franchise growth drivers/opportunities and provide insights
  • Support and collaborate with our partner on overall publishing planning, execution as well as franchise brand building in China.
  • Serve as liaison between China and HQ publishing teams, offering perspective on local initiatives across live operations, in game features, marketing campaigns and esports etc.
  • Evaluate China marketing strategy, live operations and execution. Advocate the franchise brand locally, provide brand review and approvals
  • Build strong working relationship with key strategic partners, provide transparency and timely communicate for expectation, deliverables and targets.
  • Observe ongoing game performance, service quality & stability.
  • Maintain a strong awareness of local game trends, updates, and needs in order to mitigate any possible risks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, or relevant experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in game industry as marketing, liveops or product management. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in oversea collaboration projects
  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching commercial game products (FPS/MOBA on mobile is preferred).
  • Strong communication, analytic and presentation skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin is a must.
  • Experienced in stakeholder and expectation management. Proactive working style and attention to detail.
  • Passionate gamer with strong knowledge of the mobile shooting market is preferred. Call of Duty IP familiarity strongly preferred
