We are seeking a versatile and expert Senior Game Producer to join the development of Warcraft Arclight Rumble. If you have a passion for mobile development and want to participate in the future of Blizzard, we want to hear from you!

As a Senior Game Producer on the team, you will have a strong understanding of game development guidelines and production methodologies, collaborating with our teams to ensure achievable goals are outlined and realized throughout the phases of development. Your role is essential to the development process by coordinating across disciplines, encouraging effective and open communication, and directing features from concept, to release, and live ops. When particularly hard problems arise, you will draw upon your diverse experience and the collective creativity of the groups you support to remove blockers and produce a Blizzard-worthy game.

COVID-19 Hiring Update: We've transitioned to a work-from-home model and we're continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to begin as a remote / hybrid position that would transition to onsite. Responsibilities

  • Drive the completion of project goals and facilitate communication, organization, and accountability across a multi-discipline content or engineering teams.

  • Communicate frequently with producers as well as with team leadership regarding project status, risks, and opportunities

  • Create and track long-range project schedules for game content, assets, or engineering teams.

  • Help make decisions with team leads on workflows, pipelines, priorities, and resources

  • Collaborate with team leadership to maintain alignment and drive project goals forward

  • Anticipate production issues and remove roadblocks or bottlenecks that may prevent developers from achieving their goals on time

  • Providing effective and constructive feedback to the team, providing suggestions and solutions for improvement when applicable

  • As a senior producer you’ll be expected to take on mentees from time to time as well as contribute back to the production discipline and process within the Warcraft Arclight Rumble team

  • Serving as an ambassador of Blizzard core values and team values; "Leading Responsibly" in all interactions and activities

  • Promote, contribute to, and participate in a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion

Requirements

  • 5+ years of game production experience

  • Must have shipped at least one AAA game in a producer or senior producer role

  • Adept at managing agile game development teams using Scrum and/or Kanban

  • Battle-tested knowledge of software development and project management processes

  • Experience facilitating and mediating dependencies across disciplines and departments

  • Ability to build, track, and maintain content or engineering schedules

  • Highly self-motivated and accountable

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pluses

  • Professional game industry experience on a live game

  • Shipped one or more mobile games in a production role

  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence

  • Scrum Master and/or Product Owner certification

  • Knowledge of engineering, art, tech art, and design production practices

  • Experience handling a content pipeline—you understand and are able to facilitate workflows, have a grasp of production costs and timelines, and you are able to communicate all of that to management and the team
