The Overwatch team is seeking a passionate, dedicated Global Marketing Manager that’s eager to learn and contribute toward our team’s goal of taking one of gaming’s most beloved franchises to heroic new heights!

As an integral member of our Global Marketing team, you’ll help us create and deploy marketing plans that engage a global audience through innovative brand storytelling, capturing the hearts and imaginations of entertainment fans worldwide.

his individual will be responsible for cross-functional and external creative agency coordination, providing critical planning and production support required to implement best-in-class marketing campaigns at the brand and product level across a variety of consumer touchpoints, including social media, live events and activations, broadcast media, consumer products and more.

Make A Mark on Culture.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide planning and production support for key brand and seasonal marketing campaigns that drive our business, fuel brand affinity, and breakthrough into culture.

  • Support Marketing Manager to bring brand partnerships to life in innovative ways that impact culture and drive engagement.

  • Partner with our Consumer Products team to create Overwatch apparel, collectibles and brand collaborations.

Tell Stories That Matter.

  • Collaborate with our narrative team to help develop and deploy linear and transmedia that brings the heroic world of Overwatch to life, fuels fandom beyond the game, and brings new audiences into our universe.

Flex Your Strategic Muscle.

  • Work with consumer insights, strategy, and marketing analytics teams to make data-informed, insights-driven marketing decisions in support of our campaigns.

Redefine Live Events.

  • Work alongside our experiential marketing team to execute live events like Blizzcon, E3, and Gamescom, helping us redefine what it means to connect with our community IRL in a post-pandemic world.

Support A Global Vision.

  • Provide critical production support to our International Teams that allows us to activate our global marketing strategies and campaigns at the regional level.

  • Help develop campaigns and initiatives that bring our brand values of teamwork, positivity, and inclusivity to life, creating positive change in today’s world.

  • Work with developers, cross-functional teams, and brand partners to develop strategies and plans that support our mission to create gaming’s most positive and inclusive community.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

  • 5+ years experience in brand marketing, creative agency account management (or equivalent client-side position), preferably in the entertainment or gaming industries – live services marketing experience valued.

  • Experience supporting the development of integrated campaigns that blend traditional, digital, social, and influencer marketing – performance marketing experience is a plus.

  • Strong project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Extremely organized, diligent, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to craft a narrative

  • Proficiency in preparing presentation decks and managing project management skills

  • A passion for entertainment, youth culture, and gaming, particularly in the free-to-play shooter category.

Covid-19 Hiring Update: We’re currently in a work-from-home model, and we’re continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to begin as a remote position but will transition to at least a partial in-office position based out of Irvine, CA.
