The World of Warcraft team is seeking an engineer to lead our newly forming Experimental Platform team. The Experimental Platform team has a particularly interesting charter – to create tools, technology, and infrastructure that empower our content teams to build out-of-the-box or unexpected gameplay experiences for our players. In this role, you will build and support collaborative connections with the rest of the World of Warcraft team, manage and guide the development of engineers on the Experimental Platform team, and help the team establish technical vision and process. The ideal candidate prioritizes collaboration and service to partner teams, enjoys learning new things, and wants every engineer on their team to have the best job on Earth.

As we look for a lead to join this team, we are excited to consider candidates with less direct experience in leadership roles. If you are an aspiring leader, we would be thrilled to see your application.
