Blizzard Entertainment is looking for an experienced and passionate Human resources (HR) Specialist to join our HR team in Taipei, Taiwan. The HR Specialist will be responsible for assisting in all functional areas of human resources and implementing best practices of HR policies/processes to support business strategies as well as planning, organizing, and executing activities associated with compensation, benefits and employee activities as well as dealing with HR administrative tasks. In addition, the HR Specialist will assist Sr. HR manager to implement HR COE transformation. This is a 12-month fixed term contract.
Responsibilities
- Design and administer proactive programs, procedures and plans for management of HR policies and processes
- Assess, deliver, and facilitate HR programs, including employee relations/ communications, compensation, and benefits
- Support HR transformation project and execute operational tasks raising from HR transformation project, including but not limited to track project status, report, consolidation, and coordination with regional HR CoE team.
- Support HRBP and Leadership team to maintain a favorable reputation of the company by proactive communications, issues management and crisis mitigation
- Improve employees’ engagement through pulse survey, internal communications, and activities
- Review all HR policies and processes periodically, recommend changes and help establish policies in alignment with business strategy, statutory regulation and compliance
- Consult with legal counsel to ensure compliance with laws and regulations such as labor laws and local compensation related laws
- Provide coaching to employees to resolve conflicts, enhance team effectiveness and ensure support of organization changes and business plans
- Other ad hoc assignments as required
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in HR management, Psychology or business administration related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in HR in multi-national company, either in HR generalist field in compensation & benefits or employee relationship function is preferable
- Strong team player who builds collaborative relationships with HR generalist teams, talent acquisition, compensation, HR systems and business partners
- Good knowledge of overall HR policies and processes as well as Taiwan labor law
- Skilled communicator with high resilience and positive attitudes when facing challenges
- Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills in both Chinese and English
- Exposure to CoE process on Compensation & benefit, and/or HR Operations
- Self-starter, highly motivated, and achievement oriented
- High level of energy and proactivity
