Your Mission

As a Game Producer on the World of Warcraft Live Operations Team you will be the first line of defense for troubleshooting live issues impacting our players and internal outages affecting game development. You’ll collaborate with a diverse team to communicate risks, eliminate roadblocks, and facilitate seamless content releases across our broad array of World of Warcraft game versions.

This role is anticipated to be a remote work position located in Europe.

What you bring to the table:

  • Facilitate the operation of the Public Test Realm, oversee the generation of Release Candidate builds, and manage the deployment of patches to the live game

  • Ensure the continuous development of the game by keeping our QA and Vendor test environments up-to-date, removing potential roadblocks.

  • Cultivate an in-depth understanding of World of Warcraft as a service, minimizing team interruptions and offering guidance on technical challenges.

  • Act as a live service owner, proactively driving issue prevention, diagnosis, mitigation, and root cause analysis.

  • Plan and task infrastructure and feature improvements for a team of cross-discipline engineers and technical experts.

  • Provide 24/7 operational support, participating in an on-call rotation alongside fellow producers.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3+ years of game production or equivalent project management experience

Knowledge & Skills

  • Detail and process oriented with strong organizational skills

  • Exhibits clear and concise communication skills, effectively engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of software development processes and/or strong project management skills

  • Displays unyielding self-motivation and initiative in approaching tasks and overcoming obstacles.

Extra Points:

  • Experience in live service operations or IT/Infrastructure roll outs

  • Proficient with Jira and Confluence

  • Passion for game development and MMO games

  • Knowledge of World of Warcraft gameplay and systems

  • A strong curiosity for how things work

  • Experience in the game industry in Quality Assurance, Customer Service, or Esports departments
