Job Description:

The product coordinator will be responsible for supporting the preparation and execution of Warzone and Call of Duty Mobile competitive products. This will include, but is not limited to sourcing and managing streamers, influencers, and various other participants for our tournaments and events. You should have a comfort with Twitter, Discord, and esports community management while also sharing a passion and excitement for streamers and games. Familiarity with Battle Royale is a plus. This position will work closely with the mainline Warzone and CODM product, marketing and PR teams to support initiatives throughout the franchise calendar year.

In this role you will report to the CDL product director, and you will play a pivotal role in helping to lead strategy, creative, production and relationships.

The ideal candidate possesses a love of games, strong project management skills, proven product or game launch history, and knowledge of COD influencers, a deep knowledge of livestream and esports community relations, solid attention to detail and time management skills, as well as great spirit of creative collaboration, and a passion for creative, dynamic environments!

What You Will Do

Talent

  • Managing agency relationships where you will be expected to negotiate cost, define scope of work, work with legal on papering, and hold the agency accountable for deliverables
  • Maintain talent budgets available for both agency management and for talent promotional services
  • Create talent briefs that make sure talent integration meets strategic and organizational goals
  • Developing the talent outreach strategy in conjunction with other internal stakeholders across the franchise
  • Coordinating any needs between broadcast partners and talent
  • Researching and updating a target talent list for streamers and/or relevant celebrities for product integrations
  • Working with analytics and various programs to assess talent performance
  • Strategize with marketing and consumer research to ensure we are targeting talent based on relevant factors in HMAs and target demographic
  • Create positive and lasting relationships with talent by thinking through thoughtful gifting programs in line with company policy
  • Coordinate with the Studio and CDL orgs on integration of studio heads and owners and investors into the broadcast

Administrative

  • Manage real-time reporting across streaming networks, creator platforms, social media and community discussions; including analyzing key performance data, industry trends and emerging opportunities
  • Build Excel reports and PowerPoint presentations that communicate key information and learnings from prior events
  • Work on deadline, balance multiple projects and manage toward results
  • Actively engage as part of communications team with marketing, production and studio teams
  • Support product launch PR logistics, including launch programs and experiential opportunities
  • Track program budgets, invoicing and reporting
  • Writing postmortem recaps to constantly improve

Product

  • Lead discussions on how to integrate talent in influencers into the product and broadcast; this would also include ongoing work on strategy for music integration into core broadcasts
  • Provide recommendations on how to improve the product by staying on top of gaming and influencer trends
  • Coordinate with produce stakeholders both internally and externally

Live Ops

  • Managing talent comms for major events; developing email list serves to manage communications as well as formats that make information gathering more efficient
  • Manage issue escalation from talent and think through issue resolution strategy by anticipating issues that may arise
  • Coordinate with IT on shipping and installing equipment for any celebrity streaming activations

Marketing

  • Liaise with marketing and content teams on how to activate talent and influencers for promotional support
  • Coordinate and help shape announcement plans with PR; provide support in coordinating interviews

Misc.

  • Support any internal company initiatives related to communications, launch parties, office decorations, and watch parties for CDL events
  • Support ticketing programs for employees for live CDL events in addition to any VIP needs for company executives at CDL events
  • Player Profile
  • BA/BS in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, English or Journalism preferred
  • Work experience for marketing agencies or tournament operators focusing on video games, consumer brands/products or entertainment
  • Experience with streaming networks and content platforms, including Twitch, and YouTube, as well as communications platforms such as Discord
  • Experience supporting mass, pop-culture products and/or entertainment brands
  • An excitement to create innovative and unique concepts
  • Personal experience with digital online-only events as well as livestream gaming competitions
  • In-depth experience with social media platforms, such as Twitter and Instagram; and be on the lookout for emerging platforms
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Ability and interest in traveling for events
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Reader
  • Professional experience with tracking and reporting platforms, including Tubular, NoScope and Sprinklr, etc…
  • Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of business functions and team leads
  • Ability to evaluate performance data and deliver insights based on agreed upon metrics/KPIs
  • Detail-oriented, self-directed skills including ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, including adaptability to fluid and last-minute changes
