Job Description:

Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a highly motivated Audio Technical Assistant to provide audio technical support to end users, and support audio technology initiatives. The ideal candidate has a robust background in audio technology with experience providing epic-level support to end users on a variety of audio hardware or software related issues, as well as a fine eye for detail to track audio assets with accuracy.

COVID-19 Hiring Update: We’ve transitioned to a work-from-home model and we’re continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to begin as a remote position. We understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore possible interim options.

Responsibilities

  • Provide audio technical support to end users
  • Deploy, maintain, and track audio software and hardware assets
  • Research and advise on software and hardware purchase requests
  • Perform regular audio workstation and facility maintenance checks
  • Support infrastructure/tech-related policies and initiatives
  • Communicate roadblocks and bottlenecks that may prevent on-time and high-quality delivery

Requirements

  • 1-2 years in a technical support role, with emphasis on audio technology
  • Working knowledge of audio signal flow and the assembly of audio workstations
  • Experience deploying and maintaining audio software
  • Thorough knowledge of Digital Audio Workstations, including Pro Tools
  • Able to accurately and efficiently handle a large volume of assignments
  • Proficient with Mac and Windows platforms
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Persistent self-motivation with an ability to work under tight deadlines

  • Knowledge of Blizzard IP
  • Experience with JIRA
