Description
The Technical Coordinator is responsible for collecting the knowledge of Blind Squirrel Games technology and procedures and then translating them into comprehensible video, audio and written formats. The Technical Coordinator is also responsible for building standards and structure for documentation and information storage across all company departments.
Essential Job Functions
- Write, organize, and maintain high-quality documentation and tutorials for internal Tools and Technology
- Collaborate with content owners in creating clear and concise documentation for both new and existing users of the internal technology in addition to studio production tools
- Identify and develop learning resources for the company for all applicable production tools
- Maintain company Terminology Guide - document how technical terminology is used in the studio
- Develop and refine existing data analytics to visualize information effectively within the studio
Knowledge Requirements
- Excellent written and verbal English language skills
- Two plus years of experience writing software documentation and samples
- Able to understand, interpret, and explain complicated
- concepts
- Able to write easy-to-follow instructions
- Experience editing existing documentation for content and accuracy
- Game development background / knowledge
- Proficient an Excel, and visualizing data analytics
- Confluence and JIRA concepts and feature set including plugin usage and recommendation
Demonstrated Ability To
- Create, organize and maintain confluence spaces for various departments and studio projects
- Basic scripting and plugin creation to automate the exporting of analytics information from tools such as: TeamCity, Perforce, Confluence, and JIRA.
