The Manager of People and Culture is responsible for creating initiatives that will help our people connect, grow and succeed in the post-COVID workplace.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and implement methods to cultivate company culture in a hybrid and remote work environment.
  • Ensure that our people feel appreciated, listened to, and valued within our organization.
  • Use key metrics to measure employee sentiment and to help create initiatives to support employee well-being.
  • Work closely with studio leadership and management to integrate People & Culture programs into regular business operations.
  • Inform and educate product teams on People and Culture best practices.
  • Provide insight and recommendations to studio leadership and management on how to manage and foster employees’ well-being.
  • Take charge of the hosting and moderation of virtual and in-person internal community events.
  • Provide assistance in social content creation to support Blind Squirrel Games studio efforts.

SKILLS

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to listen and build interpersonal relationships across different departments with empathy and awareness.
  • Ability to problem-solve, react, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic changing environment.
  • Ability to launch a community initiative from conception to completion on a digital platform.
  • Passion or interest in video games and gaming.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in organizational management, preferably people operations or HR.
  • Experience in creating and implementing company culture initiatives.
  • Experience working in the game or entertainment industry.
