Associate Producer (Remote/On-site)
As an Associate Producer you will work directly with the development team to plan out and monitor tasks that drive a project forward implementing best processes and methods when the need arises. You will maintain project backlogs and active sprints ensuring that progress is maintained throughout and senior management have a clear idea of the status at any given time. You will play a key role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time.
Core responsibilities:
- Optimise and enhance work methods to coordinate a project team simply and clearly.
- Maintain frequent communication with team members and management
- Manage and maintain project task backlogs and bugs ensuring correct priorities are set
- Plan, monitor and maintain active sprints
- Work with the development team to break down project features into understandable and achievable tasks
- Be a point of contact for and coordinate key deliverables (marketing materials, demos, store assets, etc.)
- Be willing to get involved with different disciplines to help where needed (Audio, QA, Design, etc.)
- Coordinate external services when needed (Voice Over recordings, QA services, etc.)
Requirements:
- Outstanding organisational skills and ability
- Excellent communicator
- Strong knowledge of agile and waterfall project management methodologies
- A good working knowledge of project management software such as Jira
- An understanding of game development
- At least 1 shipped game project
- A passion for games
Advantageous experience:
- Experience using game engines (Unity or Unreal)
- Experience in or understanding of other disciplines (Design, QA, Art, etc.)
- Experience in public speaking and presenting
- An interest in games with a strong narrative element
- Console platform experience (Switch, PS, Xbox)
- Knowledge of art and video editing tools such as Photoshop and Premier
Additional Notes:
- This role can be remote or on-site at our Glasgow office, if the candidate elects for it to be remote there will still be on-site visits required on a regular basis.
