BLAST is a leading business in the esports industry, pushing the boundaries of esports entertainment into the mainstream. The company owns and runs BLAST Premier, a global esports tournament, a range of live events and original content productions.

THE ROLE

BLAST is looking to hire a Commercial Partnerships Coordinator, based in either its London or Copenhagen offices, on a fixed term contract from May 2021 to the end of December 2021. There could be potential to extend depending on the business needs at the time.

BLAST creates bespoke, innovative brand partnerships that are focused on delivering a range of outcomes and benefits. The Commercial Operations Coordinator will be supporting day-to-day activity across commercial partnerships, including Betway, EPOS, Coinbase and CS.Money. Main responsibility will include day-to-day account support, helping the Commercial Partnerships Executive and Senior Partnerships Manager with the delivery and reporting of all commercial partners across the BLAST Premier circuit and ad hoc projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Management of client-facing project documents, including status reports, critical paths, evaluation and reporting documents
  • Raising Purchase Orders and up keep of Commercial Budget with partner spend
  • Asset management and contractual deliverables, including the management of prize distribution and partner gifting to our contacts globally
  • Approval management on behalf of key clients
  • Client bespoke event logistic assistance: sourcing venues, coordinating catering, AV & production, guest management, hotel management, transport logistics, H&S, guest communications, preparing event schedules and manuals with the help of the BLAST operations team
  • Assistance on the onboarding of partners into brand tracking software and liaison with partner agency on deliverables and timelines
  • Development of competitive market reviews and insights on industry best practice
  • Assisting with deadlines and asset management alongside the sales team as required

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • At least 1 years experience within an area of sponsorship, marketing or events, either brand, agency or rights holder side.
  • Excellent day to day project management.
  • Positive, proactive and friendly attitude.
  • Strong relationship management internally and externally (clients, partners, suppliers and other client agencies)
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage client expectations, meet deadlines and communicate clearly is essential.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask is essential.
  • Ability to develop and manage realistic and effective timelines and communications plans.
  • General understanding of market trends and enthusiasm for the esports industry – keeping abreast with industry developments and competition in the marketplace.
  • You will be a creative thinker and offer alternative solutions and ideas, from content.
  • Ability to write concise, structured and insightful post event reports and campaign analysis documents.
  • The confidence to bring your experience and ability to the team alongside a willingness to learn and develop your skills.
  • The enthusiasm, passion and team ethic to ensure you deliver success as an individual and as part of a collaborative team with shared goals.
