What the Animation Software Developer will do at BioWare:

Reporting to the lead gameplay programmer, you will work with our animation, design, and programming teams to develop the technology necessary to amaze our players with industry-leading animation.

Who You Are:

You are a collaborative developer with experience working with animation systems for AAA console and PC video games. You have a passion for high-fidelity animation and can help us push our games to the next level. You are creative and communicative. You want to help us build the best games in the industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop gameplay and cinematic animation systems that meet creative and technical requirements.
  • Work with animators and designers on solutions that further our games' artistic vision through immersive animation.
  • Work with other programmers to use and extend existing systems in new ways.

Requirements:

  • Experience developing animation features and systems for AAA PC and console games.
  • Experience developing systems where memory, and performance is important.
  • Professional experience developing in C++ with an understanding of software design principles
