BigBox VR, makers of POPULATION: ONE, is seeking a Senior Producer who can help build the future of VR Multiplayer. We are looking for a strong communicator who loves the iterative technical and creative process. This person will have the desire to understand a product holistically and can contribute creatively, knowing when to be pragmatic and when to be blue sky. This person will make art trade-offs that align with business objectives while embracing teamwork, as well as solve problems independently.

Responsibilities

  • Create, plan and deliver working games as a service with a dynamic and creative team
  • Steer product development and feature development by monitoring and driving key metrics
  • Drive production and design teams to concept and implement core gameplay features/mechanics
  • Expand and explore new systems that would improve players experiences
  • Work with Data Scientists to extract trends, run AB tests, and measure the impact of features and optimizations
  • Translate results into action that impacts key metrics
  • Balance and design virtual economies
  • Track and develop understanding of the VR gaming industry
  • Mentor and grow other producers, team members in the producer craft
  • Collaborate with other internal Oculus Studios partners and external partners/vendors

Minimum Qualification

  • 5+ years of proven experience in a Game Product Management role or similar
  • Experience running and optimizing a Live Service
  • Experience executing hands-on and also looking at the big picture
  • Experience to concretely distill down why a feature, mechanic, or system works or doesnโ€™t work for the player, and come up with next steps for iteration
  • Solid business and design capabilities - you can draw a line from detailed player behavior all the way to market outcomes
  • Understanding of market trends, business models, and customer preferences across all genres, platforms, territories, and demographics
  • Experienced critically evaluating design, UX, and economy that influence player behavior
  • Analytical skills and experience with data-driven product design and decision-making
  • Experienced understanding in-game trends using data insights to improve top line indicators

Preferred Qualification

  • Experience working on a VR or AR product
