You are a talented Producer looking to build the next generation of online, multiplayer games for Oculus Quest. You are a skilled communicator, adept at getting the best results as part of a collaborative team. You are a product-centric leader with a strong sense for what makes quality gameplay, feel, and fun. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get into the details to solve complex problems, and iteratively prototype with the team to prove new concepts. You challenge and inspire the team to deliver the highest quality results possible while keeping commitments to deadlines.

Game Producer - BigBox Responsibilities:

  • Create, plan and deliver working games as a service with a dynamic and creative team.
  • Work directly with the team to build and iterate gameplay that demonstrates successful new gameplay concepts, features, systems, and mechanics.
  • Contribute to the vision of the product and steer prioritization, resource allocation, and scope of the team’s work to execute successfully on time.
  • Drive the day-to-day work on the team including dependencies, risk mitigation, handoffs, and flow through the production pipeline.
  • Work with Data Scientists to extract trends, run AB tests, and measure the impact of features and optimizations.
  • Champion and develop new game updates that translate results into action to impacts key metrics.
  • Track and develop understanding of the VR gaming industry.
  • Collaborate with other internal Oculus Studios producers, partners and external partners/vendors.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in a Game Product Management role or similar.
  • Experience working directly with gameplay teams as a producer, designer, or engineer.
  • Experience executing hands-on and also looking at the big picture.
  • Experience to concretely distill down why a feature, mechanic, or system works or doesn’t work for the player, and come up with next steps for iteration.
  • Intermediate business and design capabilities - you can draw a line from detailed player behavior all the way to market outcomes.
  • Proven experience with market trends, business models, and customer preferences across all genres, platforms, territories, and demographics.
  • Experience with critically evaluating design, UX, and economy that influence player behavior.
  • Analytical skills and experience with data-driven product design and decision-making.
  • Experienced understanding in-game trends using data insights to improve top line indicators.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on Multiplayer First-Person Shooters.
  • Experience working as a Game Designer or Gameplay Engineer.
  • Experience working on a VR or AR product.
