The ZeniMax Central Services group is looking for an exceptional Senior Manager with a passion for games, and a desire to protect the player experience to lead our Live Operations teams.The successful applicant will work as part of the Services leadership team, ensuring that the LiveOps group is collaborating across the organization to drive operational excellence with our ZeniMax Studios.
The Senior Manager, Live Operations will be accountable for studio and corporate operational support at varying levels of engagement, ensuring high quality processing of service requests, and world class incident management, while collaborating with studio developers to drive operational excellence at all phases of game development. In this position they will also be responsible for managing and building the team to be able to fulfil these activities and drive the organization towards success.
Define and execute the strategy for Bethesda’s Live Operations group
Collaborate with staff to create project schedules, budget resources, drive KPI based milestones, and successfully operate products and services.
Create and refine operational processes to increase efficiency, work life balance, and quality.
Manage the team and effectively mentor and grow them.
Communicate with senior management on status. Collaborate with departmental leaders to solve problems, mitigate risk, and drive our service orientated strategy forward.
Manage relationships with external stakeholders and customers;
Corporate functions (Finance, Legal, Marketing, Community etc)
External software developers
Deep experience in managing high-impact teams that support games globally
Extensive experience operating a service based or operational business unit
Prior success in crafting a strategic vision that was communicated clearly and adopted through all levels of an organization that delivered results
Ability to work well as a leader of leaders and communicate effectively with people of varying technical knowledge
Proven tolerance for ambiguity and a willingness to jump in and assume tasks to support the success of the team
Strong leadership skills that motivate employees to focus their energy on personal growth
Demonstrated ability in process improvement and development
High comfort levels managing conflicting priorities and emerging requests
