Bethesda Game Studios is looking for an experienced Live Producer to join our team. Live Producers work with all parts of the team to facilitate communication, solve problems, and remove anything getting in the way of other disciplines being able to work. Candidates will be comfortable influencing and negotiating priorities with other teams’ leadership, particularly emphasizing overall organizational success as the most highly desirable outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the health of the 24/7 live game service
  • Manage scheduling, testing, deployment, and communication of game updates and hotfixes
  • Create procedures and standards for operating the live service to ensure minimal downtime and a consistent player experience
  • Collaborate with QA, Community, and Customer Service to triage issues found in the live environments
  • Prioritize department initiatives based on data drive decision making
  • Communicate product health/status with leadership group regarding product risks and challenges with solutions to address them
  • Coordinate large scale technical projects that require coordination with different business disciplines
  • Manage and grow external partner relationships

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of game production or equivalent experience
  • Experience in a position where you managed the operation of an online title or service
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, track, and deliver on complex, multi-disciplinary projects
  • Familiarity with cloud services and online game infrastructures
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to communicate effectively with senior management
  • Able to thrive under pressure
  • Familiar with cloud technologies and managing online services

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Agile game development: Scrum, Kanban, Feature-driven development
  • Game discipline experience: design, art, engineering, QA
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and the MS Office suite
  • 1st party support services such as Sony DevNet, Microsoft Partner Center, and Steamworks
  • Familiarity with deployment services such as Jenkins
  • Experience as an on-call resource
  • Strong familiarity with BGS games
