Overview

Responsibilities

  • Under the guidance of the Senior Content Manager, help with the execution of content to support all Bethesda games, including coordination, editing and production.
  • Develop and deploy engaging, high quality content (written and video) to optimize brand visibility
    • Pitch and assist in writing editorial content based on all products;
    • Assist content managers with the production/roadmap on multiple triple-A brands;
    • Interface with development studios to create editorial and video content;
    • Produce video content using internal resources and outside vendors;
  • Participate in ongoing PR initiatives, and work with and within PR team and brand teams to help build effective and strategic communication plans
  • Work with Senior Content Manager and Community team to ensure that prioritized stories are distributed via all appropriate internal or external channels
  • Assist content team to ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and social promotion and assist in efforts to continually develop new content themes, topics and formats
  • Assist content team to maintain a functional editorial calendar for all content
  • Provide support for all Content initiatives

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience with end-to-end marketing content execution
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
  • Editorial experience is a must; writing samples required
    • Superior writing and verbal communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and interact with a variety of audiences
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines, prioritize competing work appropriately to meet all deadlines in a highly confidential, fast paced environment
  • Proficient knowledge and/or comfort with content management systems
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team, interfacing at all levels within the organization as well as client organizations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suites including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Video content creation a plus
  • Industry experience is a plus
