We are looking for a motivated, entrepreneurial, and experienced Media Sales Director, at Bent Pixels, who will be responsible for sourcing new partnership leads, building strong relationships with both media agencies and brands directly, as well as closing revenue-generating and profitable deals.

Your knowledge and understanding of YouTube will be indispensable in helping us package and price our offering in a market that is hungry for a premium, brand-safe, and scaled video product. You will represent Bent Pixels across the US market; working with major brands across lifestyle verticals, representing some of the worldโ€™s leading male and female lifestyle talent. You are dynamic in your ability to evangelize the best solution for a client, smart in your approach to your book of business, and enthusiastic in your desire to be part of our growth and culture.

The ideal candidate would be a true self-starter in nature, have a passion for - and general knowledge of - a consultative sales process, and a 3-5 year history in online video and targeted media. The candidate would also have a proven track record of winning business in โ€˜agency typeโ€™ services and media campaigns.

As a member of our team, you will

  • Identify, qualify, and secure new client RFPs and Insertion Orders for premium reserved media dollars on YouTube
  • Create, manage, and scale a revenue pipeline with advertisers, agencies, and partners
  • Create, aggressively pitch, close new business, and exceed sales targets by using a robust solutions-based and consultative sales approach
  • Deliver stellar presentations which clearly communicate media strategy and paid media campaign value on YouTube
  • Communicate vision and strategy effectively with potential and current customers/partners
  • Drive results in a fast-paced, resource-conscious environment with a creative style and a strong vision
  • Drive media agency and holding company partnerships
  • Align Bent Pixels inventory with existing brand contacts
  • Work with the team to continue to develop and enhance sales messaging and collateral to highlight Bent Pixels unique benefits to close larger media deals
  • Ensure that our clients receive the highest level of sales and customer service

What you'll have:

  • 3-5 years of proven business development or sales experience
  • History of establishing an RFP pipeline for a social, creative, or media agency
  • A love for lifestyle digital culture, and social video
  • Deep understanding of the YouTube media and the digital landscape
  • Decision-level client direct and/or media agency relationships is a MUST
  • A "hunter" mentality, tenacious drive, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Creative team player who will collaborate cross-functionally to build the best solutions for our partners
  • An adaptive approach; a love of an ever-changing environment where you are constantly improving yourself, your teammates, and our processes
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to a diverse audience both internally and externally
  • Track record of exceeding personal revenue goals
  • Strong understanding of YouTube video analytics
  • YouTube Certifications are a bonus
  • IAB digital media sales training
