As part of the Finance team, the Finance Associate will be assigned duties related to Accounts Payable. They will be working on all areas within Finance and Accounting where needed
Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain, organize, and secure accounting/finance files by performing regular audits to ensure data accuracy
- Payment processing and other accounts payable duties as needed
- Accounts payable invoices - code and input all
- Prepare checks / wire payments
- Stamp and mail out accounts payable checks
- Process expense reports for corporate credit cards
- File all accounts payable documents
- Oversee month-end close process
- Interact with customers/vendors to resolve outstanding issues/disputes
- Other assignments as needed
Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related majors
- At least one (1) year account payable experience
- Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Proficient in data entry
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize with excellent attention to detail
- Analytical and problem solving skills
- Detail-oriented
