The Mission
- Be a hands-on leader who grows, develops, and manages a cross-functional team of engineers in a fast-paced environment
- Work closely with product management team to ensure alignment with product strategy and requirements
- Manage delivery timelines, task planning, and project execution
- Foster a collaborative learning culture
- Influence others and build consensus
- Build relationships across the organization
- Mentor and guide others’ professional development
- Articulate architecture and design in a cloud-native platform
- Drive software engineering standards and best practices
- Deliver reliable software through continuous integration, continuous delivery, and extensive automation
Your Talents
- 7+ years of experience as a software engineer writing production code in a professional environment
- 3+ years of hands-on technical leadership and people management experience
- Expertise in at least 3 programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Kotlin, Java, C#, C++, Go, etc.)
- Experience with one of the leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GGP)
- Experience with web or mobile development
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with CI/CD approaches and toolchains
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- A passion for continuous learning and championing growth in others
- Comfortable working in a casual environment where the suits and slacks are out, and the T’s and jeans are in!
