THE ROLE OVERVIEW:
As a Belong Arena & Community Manager, your objective is to oversee the delivery and quality of customer experiences within the Arena for internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate will build an inclusive diverse team through hiring, training, and professional development. The Arena & Community Manager creates and supports local events, scenes, and marketing opportunities in line with Belong brand values that are relevant to the local consumer and gaming landscape, with a key focus on participation, recognition, and community. You will lead, train, and develop your team to hold customer service as the number 1 priority while building a strong connection with the community.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
You will drive Arena Operations initiatives which include labor management, inventory control, expenses, events, and programs.
You will lead people and arena operations to achieve Belongs KPI metrics including utilization, engagement, sales, outreach, events, customer satisfaction, and profitability goals while maintaining an environment that is curious, healthy, safe, and fun. You will be responsible for building succession plans and effectively managing performance management, corrective action to align with our People Strategy.
BRING YOUR A GAME
- Strong knowledge of online gaming and esports
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in service driven business (i.e., retail or food service)
- Previous experience in retail operations, managing budgets, recruitment, customer service, sales, and people leader
- Ability to communicate in English
- Physical requirements include the ability to twist, bend, squat, reach, and stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to build, lead and manage a team
- Ability to work weekends, evenings, nights, and holidays as needed
- Strong knowledge of social media accounts, online gaming, and events
