We are now looking for an experienced Engineer to drive the technology of one of our biggest production and help us provide our players with the best possible experience.

Job Description

What will you do?

  • Be responsible for the architecture and implementation of efficient networking code both on the client and the server
  • Profile and improve game network traffic efficiency
  • Instrument and analyze numerous game systems and network game traffic
  • Build scalable systems to synchronize state between client, server and back-end services
  • Work with large data (visualization, analysis, pipelines)

Qualifications

  • Excellent programming skills with C++
  • Proficiency in client-server networking architecture
  • Ability to prioritize, plan, organize your work & time and work within deadlines
  • Ability to thrive on change and to adapt changing needs and requirements
  • Experience working with first party online services (Sony Playstation Network, Steam or Xbox Live)
  • Strong interest for video games and the environment we work in

Would be considered as an asset :

  • Experience in protocol design and implementation
  • Experience with packet bandwidth optimization
