We are seeking a full-time Marketing Copywriter to create promotional content across a variety of formats: in-game news, blog posts, press releases, emails, landing pages, and more. As an active member of the marketing department, the candidate will use their sharp and informed wordsmithing skills to produce compelling copy to support Behaviour’s marketing strategies and inform, attract, and convert gamers. This is a high-volume position for a self-starter person who is also passionate about videogames and horror. The ideal person for this role is passionate about videogames and horror, can translate a message in different ways for different audiences and through different media. They are curious and excited about collaborating with different teams and playing our games in order to inform BHVR’s various audiences.

In this role you will :

  • Produce high-impact copy that clearly communicates messages and supports marketing strategies in order to drive engagement;
  • Collaborate with brand managers, public relations managers, creatives and other colleagues to ensure highly creative and compelling copy;
  • Develop brand voice and editorial standards and ensure consistency across all media;
  • Edit, fact check, and proofread copy;
  • Continually strive to deepen knowledge of Behaviour’s brands and products.

What we're looking for :

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in English, journalism, communications, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, preferably in a videogame marketing department;
  • Fluent in oral and written English. Bonus if fluent in oral and written French;
  • Demonstrated professional writing experience for games or videogame studio;
  • Natural storyteller and experienced editor;
  • Strong and clear communicator able to build healthy trust-based relationships with teams in development and marketing.
