Beenox is a video game development studio created in 2000. Located in beautiful Quebec City, Canada. Beenox is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Activision Publishing Inc., one of the world’s top game publishers.

The studio is proud to contribute to the development of the Call of Duty video game franchise. Beenox has also contributed to the resounding success of the Crash Bandicoot, Skylanders, Spider-Man, and Guitar Hero franchises.

Beenox is proud to support the blockbuster Call of Duty franchise. We are looking for a special someone who can help lead community dialogue with PC fans in support of this great franchise. You’ll be working closely with lead studios across Call of Duty and with publishing teams at Activision.

MAIN TASKS

  • Support franchise community communications
  • Lead PC community dialogue working closely with lead Call of Duty studios
  • Play a key role in helping to drive global PC-specific community programs and studio-led initiatives
  • Craft and communicate a dedicated PC voice across multiple Call of Duty releases
  • Develop and manage the online PC community for both pre-launch and live ops, post-launch
  • Work closely with Call of Duty lead development studios as well as marketing communications teams at Activision to amplify key beats
  • Carefully communicate Beenox’s voice and celebrate studio culture
  • Identify, manage and nurture PC specific communication channels, as well as more general studio channels, including Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube in support of Call of Duty PC fans
  • Monitor general and PC-specific online community dialogue on platforms, including Discord, Twitter, Reddit and LinkedIn
  • Partner with publishing teams on marketing communications programs for PC-specific information and assets for use with PC-specific plans and rollouts
  • Serve as PC spokesperson for PR opportunities including press interviews, PC product demos and potential road shows or public presentations
  • Create bespoke social media posts, working closely with lead studios and Activision
  • Generate community feedback report to assess trends and notable sentiment among our fan base.
  • Support game and studio events around the world.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years of industry related experience working in social media and community management
  • College diploma or bachelor’s degree
  • Extensive PC gaming knowledge
  • Familiarity with Call of Duty franchise
  • Self-sufficient and self-motivated; positive attitude and good adaptability
  • Outstanding communications skills and robust writing abilities in both French and English
  • Have experience contributing to successful online community plans
  • Be adaptive, proactive and flexible
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and communication timelines simultaneously
  • Solid social media expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Desktop publishing software, Photoshop, Illustrator, and HTML; software, including Opal, Tubular, NoScope
  • Up to date on new social media tools, best practices and how other organizations and companies are using them
  • Interest and knowledge in competitive video games and esports
  • Passion for video games
  • Direct experience with PC community management is considered as a plus
  • Familiarity with Battle.net a definite plus
