A Battlefy Project Manager is responsible for the smooth and predictable execution of our B2B esports experiences. Not only are they the core maintainers of the project schedule, but they also play a major role in delivering amazing products that delight our users and clients through feature & bug triage, testing, and scrum leading. The project manager collaborates with the product manager to define the project scope, and manages a multidisciplinary team including software engineers, designers, and QA to execute on the project.

Battlefy powers premier esports experiences for the largest game publishers and brands, both endemic and non-endemic. We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead teams in building and smoothly delivering our client experiences.

Requirements

Who You Are

  • ‘People first’ mindset - without people, we can’t create!
  • 2-5 years project management experience
  • Bachelors degree or professional experience equivalent
  • Experience in software development processes such as Agile
  • Practical experience using Jira, Asana, Trello, or related task management software
  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the company
  • Practical experience in capacity projections is a benefit
  • Technical background is a benefit

Responsibilities

  • Define & iterate on organization-wide best practices for agile project management
  • Work with product owners to create a backlog of work required to be completed
  • Collaborate with engineers & designers to understand the capacity required to deliver the project on time
  • Make trade-off decisions in order to handle requirements changes across our customer success managers and product managers
  • Collaborate with other project managers to address company wide capacity gaps, and define resourcing requirements
  • Ensure experiences for clients are delivered with quality and on time
  • Effectively communicate inside, and outside the project teams
  • Collaborate with different business units to find the right balance of commitments
  • Understand when to escalate an issue or project challenge to stakeholders
  • Find the right balance between asynchronous & synchronous communication
  • Understand your project schedules, and resourcing requirements
  • Attention to detail regarding project execution, including status of work across multiple individual contributors
