Position Summary
The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for providing technical support for internal and external teams. This will include management of issues, risks, and project changes to ensure project delivery. The candidate will be an expert in console, PC, and digital initiatives and will contribute to process improvements. The candidate would also provide technical expertise and knowledge to internal and external teams and act as a technical liaison between technical and non-technical teams.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Familiarity with common development toolsets and build systems/frameworks.
- Contribute to and maintain internal PC product standards and test case document.
- Maintain understanding of PC and streaming platform feature sets and feature requirements.
- Perform technical project setup tasks for PC digital distribution and streaming platforms.
- Act as a knowledgebase for US, EU, and Japanese development teams for PC digital distribution and streaming platform specific features or considerations.
- Act as the primary contact for internal tool troubleshooting, bug reports, and bug escalations.
- Identify improvements for internal tools.
- Maintain familiarity with internal team responsibilities on PC and console digital distribution and streaming platforms and support additional per-product tasks as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
- 5+ years working in a technical role in game or software development (digital platform management, programming, etc.)
- Experience in game development
- Experience with vendor-side services and support
- Experience working with international teams
- Experience with PC and console production a plus
- Experience with game analytic systems and procedures a plus
- Ability to read and understand platform SDK documentation.
- Strong technical aptitude
- Very familiar with PC games and Steam.
- Strong understanding of player expectation differences between console and PC customers.
- Familiarity with Python or other scripting languages is a plus.
- Ability to travel
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
