The Associate Digital Business Manager works within the CS Digital Business team at BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. Primary responsibilities involve proactively driving digital business strategies through effective life cycle management and maximize revenue generated by the respective digital platforms. This individual will communicate amongst team members, overseas and 1st-party partners, propose effective digital business opportunities and execute post launch business initiatives based on best practices. The Associate Digital Business Manager position will report to Manager of Digital Business.
Flexible, Remote and Work From Home options are available for this position until approximately April 2022. Afterwards we expect all employees to join us at our new offices in Irvine, California where a hybrid work schedule will be observed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Day-to-day communications with internal groups and partners of overseas BANDAI NAMCO Group companies
- Drive other 3rd party digital business with Humble Bundle, Nuuvem, and other digital game distributors
- Maintain constant communication with 1st-parties to understand and maintain marketing and storefront pages
- Life-cycle management of all current and catalog titles on all digital platforms
- Plan the digital price promotion calendar and work with Analytics teams to forecast revenue outcomes
- Plan out yearly calendar containing price promotion activities for all applicable games to maximize revenue
- Work with Analytics team to understand digital trends and report outcome of digital promotions
- Report performance of digital promotions carried out on all digital platforms
- Collaborate with internal teams
- Document business schemes of other publishers that relate to the games published by BNEA
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, English or other relevant field of study
- 3+ years’ minimum video game industry experience in a sales or marketing support role
- Experience assisting in the planning and execution of business strategies
- Communicates well verbally and in writing
- Computer proficiency, i.e. Outlook, Office, etc. required
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and cross-departmentally to exceed team goals
- Self-motivated, confident and energetic
- Passion and knowledge of video games a must
