The Community and Social Media Manager is the face and voice of our brand. They manage all community communications, connect our fans with the Axis Replay brand and engage with online and in-person communities across multiple social platforms. A few points of focus are Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitch, and Discord and manage internal and external community events.

JOB TITLE | Community and Social Media Manager
REPORTS TO | Marketing Director
MAJOR GOALS |

  • Ensure a consistent, focused, and friendly voice for all of Axis Replay’s community conversations.
  • Assist the Marketing Team in developing, implement, and manage our social media strategies.
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network.

JOB FUNCTIONS |

  • Develop and implement social media brand strategies, campaigns, and plans to build brand/company awareness
  • Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency
  • Create, maintain, and grow new and existing social networks, including Twitter, LinkedIn, Discord, YouTube, Twitch, Instagram, Facebook, and others
  • Monitor social media progress using web analytic tools
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Production teams
  • Communicate with industry professionals and influencers via social media to create a strong network
  • Provide feedback from social media trends and research; relay it to business strategists
  • Write effective, concise copy for multiple platforms, websites, and social networks

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE |

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Knowledge of the current Esports industry, the general Gamer community, and the overall technology world.
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) best practices
  • Experience identifying and creating campaigns for the target audience
  • Excellent analytical and time-management skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to supervise multiple projects
